ATMOSFAR release date: October 29 Early Access

When does ATMOSFAR come out?

ATMOSFAR is announced to enter Early Access on October 29, 2026, on Windows PC. Apog Labs announced the date on October 7. The publisher lists Steam and the Epic Games Store as PC storefronts.

This is an Early Access launch, not a confirmed date for a finished 1.0 release. As of our October 12 check, the game has not reached that launch date. If you see an older date in a trailer or news story, compare it with the latest announcement before making plans.

What Early Access means

Early Access lets players buy and play a game while development continues. It does not mean every feature shown in an earlier developer diary will be present on day one. Mechanics, performance, available aircraft and the scope of the world may change between development builds and the public release.

For ATMOSFAR, that distinction matters especially when reading the older Wasp and Cloud Cruiser diaries. They describe the developers’ systems and ambitions, but are not a final inventory of launch content. Our aircraft notes and Cloud Cruiser overview keep those descriptions separate from confirmed availability.

Before buying, read the live store’s Early Access section. Look for the currently available content, the intended development timeline and any warning about save compatibility. We have not verified a final development schedule or a guarantee that saves will remain compatible across updates.

Why other release dates appear

ATMOSFAR previously had a May 20, 2026 launch target. A May postponement superseded that plan. The October announcement is the newer release-date source used here.

Some listings still show a broad “2026” window. A December 31 date on a third-party listing should not be treated as a new official announcement without a matching statement from the developer or publisher. Likewise, an old Demo launch date refers to a different build, not the paid Early Access release.

Where to check on launch day

Use the official website and Steam store for the final availability notice. A wishlist notification can help, but the store purchase button and current announcement are the practical checks that the release is actually live in your region.

We have not verified an exact unlock hour or regional price. This guide does not display a countdown because a date alone is not enough to establish the moment the game becomes playable. There is also no confirmed PS5 or Xbox release in the official sources checked for this edition.
